1982 Lincoln Continental - Oregon Showroom

For the 1982 model year, the Lincoln Continental nameplate made its return. To achieve better nameplate separation between the Continental and Town Car, Lincoln designers chose to shift the Continental into the mid-size segment. Though never officially considered a replacement for the Versailles, the 1982 Continental was the second Lincoln to be marketed against the Cadillac Seville. In a major shift, the Continental was introduced solely as a four-door sedan; the role of the coupe was returned to the Mark series as it was introduced as the Mark VII in 1984. Great commuter car, excellent mpg, 5.0 Liter V-8 with automatic transmission and overdrive. Exterior and interior very nice, with dual Flight Bench seats. Equipped with power windows, power seats and power door locks, tilt wheel and cruise control. Shows only 57k miles.
