1971 Pontiac Lemans

In 1971, the Tempest nameplate was retired and Pontiac promoted the Le Mans nameplate to full-series status to identify all of its intermediate models, which still included the GTO. All 1971 engines were detuned with lower compression ratios to run on lower-octane regular leaded, low-lead or unleaded gasoline.

Here is an excellent example of early '70's GM muscle cars. It is a mid size and mid level entry, lightweight and equipped with a big V-8! One-owner car. Very well maintained and garaged kept.

This Pontiac Lemans is finished in the very rare Canyon Copper with Black Cordova vinyl roof and matching interior. The body lines are straight and the paint has a nice finish. The chrome trim is in great condition and the Rallye II wheels really set it off. The bench seat interior offers room for six passengers.

It is powered by the Pontiac 350 cu in V-8 backed with the 3 speed Turbo Hydramatic transmission.
