2002 Chevrolet Corvette - Oregon Showroom

A major change from its predecessor the C4, the C5 featured a hydroformed box frame, a design that offered an improved structural platform, especially for a convertible body style. To improve handling, the transmission was relocated to form an integrated, rear-mounted transaxle assembly. Connected to the all-new LS1 engine via a torque tube, the engine/transmission arrangement enabled a 50-50% front-rear weight distribution. The LS1 engine initially produced 350 hp and is backed by a L460 E automatic transmission.

This Corvette convertible is presented in Magnetic Red with the Light Oak interior. The body is extremely straight and the paint presents itself very well. It is set off with chrome clad alloy wheels. The interior shows very little signs of wear with excellent upholstery, door panels carpeting and dash panel. The black soft top and rear window are in excellent condition as well.

It is fully equipped with all of the Corvette amenities such as dual climate control HVAC system, power windows, seats and door locks, tilt steering column and cruise control. It is powered by the 350 hp LS1 5.7 liter V-8 engine and has a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
