1948 Chevrolet Pickup - Oregon Showroom

Chevrolet's first major redesign post-World War II, the Advance-Design series was billed as a bigger, stronger, and sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series. First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955.

Here is a great starter truck that needs very little to finish according to your tastes. The hard work has been done and it can be enjoyed as it is. The paint and panel fit is very nice. It is finished in Pearl Platinum with Pearl Violet fenders. This truck has new glass and a new bed featuring a diamond plate tool box with the fuel tank inside. The chrome trim on this truck is in excellent condition.

This truck sits on a four wheel drive chassis and is powered by a Chevrolet 350 V-8 and 4 speed automatic transmission. It has a 3.73 rear gear.

The interior has late model bucket seats that are in good condition. The interior has been painted to match the cab and the dash features a full set of Autometer gauges. The dash chrome trim is very nice as well..
