1947 Ford Pickup - Oregon Showroom

The 1947 Ford truck is almost identical to the 1946 model that came out immediately after the end of World War II. They had a basic design similar to the 1941 and 1942 models yet was given some modifications. Since civilian vehicle design was essentially non existent during the war years, changes for the 1947 Ford truck were quite modest. This is the last model offered before the introduction of the Ford F-1 series.

This nice Ford truck is clean and straight. It is perfect for just driving about as is or take it to the next level. It has the 239 cu in flathead V-8 and 3 speed manual transmission with floor-mounted shifter. The engine has an added aluminum intake and Holley 4 bbl carburetor. The paint, upholstery and bed floor are recent cosmetic upgrades. It has the original gauges as well as added aftermarket gauges and the electrical system has been upgraded to an alternator. The side-mounted spare tire is intact.
