1956 Ford Thunderbird - Utah Showroom

The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and is credited in developing a new market segment, the personal luxury car.

This Thunderbird has had a recent and extensive restoration. The paint, chrome, interior and underhood detail is as nice as you will find. This car is powered by the 312 cu in Y-block Thunderbird Special V-8 and Ford-O-Matic transmission. Other options include power steering, power windows, 4-way power seat, Town and Country radio and Thunderbird wire wheel covers. It also has the correct porthole top, Continental kit and fender skirts.
